Artykuł stanowi próbę zaprezentowania postaci Jana Karola Chodkiewicza z linii supraskiej (1686–1712), syna starosty błudeńskiego i oboźnego wielkiego litewskiego Jerzego Karola Chodkiewicza oraz Marianny Tekli z Naruszewiczów, który do tej pory nie doczekał się żadnego szerszego opracowania naukowego. Podstawę źródłową szkicu biograficznego Chodkiewicza stanowią materiały przechowywane w Archiwum Narodowym w Krakowie, w zespole Archiwum Młynowskie Chodkiewiczów. Różnorodność znajdujących się w nim dokumentów pozwoliła na możliwie jak najdokładniejsze odtworzenie jego życiorysu. The traditional historiography of early modern state-building has usually followed the western European paradigm of historiography, the usual models being France, England, Brandenburg-Prussia and Sweden. Regions that do not follow this paradigm have simply been left out and labeled “backward” or as “lagging behind”. In this literary review, our focus is on two different and rather surprising cases of early modern state formation: the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and the Spanish colonial empire in Latin America. Postać Jana Karola Chodkiewicza (1686–1712) z linii supraskiej nie doczekała się do tej pory swojego opracowania choćby w postaci noty biograficznej. Artykuł niniejszy przybliża więc wybrany fragment z życiorysu wyżej wymienionego bohatera, który w latach 1700–1705 przebywał na naukach w szkole jezuickiej w Warszawie. Okres nauk stanowił ważne wydarzenie w życiu młodych magnatów, którzy w ich ramach przygotowywali się do służby państwowej i funkcjonowania w społeczeństwie szlacheckim. Nie inaczej było w przypadku Jana Karola, dziedzica ogromnej fortuny chodkiewiczowskiej, który resztę swojego krótkiego życia spędził później na sporach o dobra ojczyste. Bakalaura darba tēma ir “Sociālo kampaņu vēstījums vardarbības mazināšanai pret sievietēm. 3 postpadomju valstu piemēru analīze”. Darba mērķis ir noskaidrot, kā tiek attēlotas sievietes sociālās kampaņās un kādi reklāmas elementi tiek izmantoti, lai kampaņas materiāli paliktu auditorijai atmiņā. Bakalaura darbs sastāv no trīs daļām. Pirmā daļā balstās uz femensima un mārketinga teoriju, reklāmu un reklāmas elementiem. Otrajā daļā aprakstītas metode, kas tiek izmantotas darbā – kontentanalīze, naratīvs un aptauja. Trešā daļā tiek aprakstīti iegūtie rezultāti un izdarīti secinājumi.

Abstract In 1648, an uprising broke out in Ukraine that belonged to Poland at the time. The war was not successful for the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. The Cossacks and Tartars, who were helping them during the war, surrounded Zbaraż, about whose defense everyone knew in the country. King Jan Kazimierz decided to set out to rescue the besieged fortress. It was decided that not only Polish troops, but also soldiers of Lithuania would set out for Ukraine. The Sapiehas and the Potockis were amongst the most influential families of the Polish‑Lithuanian Commonwealth. The latter family owned numerous estates in Ukraine, which were directly under threat from marching Lithuanian soldiers. Kazimierz Jan Sapieha, Grand Hetman of Lithuania was in charge of the said estates. Due to cooperation of the two magnate families, he attempted to shield the Potockis’ estates and possessions from Lithuanian troops marching to or returning from the war with Turkey.
